FREE SYNCHRONISATION RIGHTS LICENSE CONDITIONS:
Film and Television synchronisation rights for all songs by The Black Assassins are already copyright pre-cleared and licensed to use free of charge in film or video or TV programs provided the following conditions are met:
1. The Black Assassins and the song title and the Black Assassins website are credited in end credits of the film/video/program in the same size font as the producers of the film/video/program;
2: The details of all songs (or parts there of) are included in music cue sheets supplied to broadcasters and exhibitors for the information of collection agencies. Information on how to report can be found below under MUSIC REPORTING DETAILS;
3. We are notified about it by emailing us. To email us click here.
4. Any soundtrack music releases from the film/video/program which include Black Assassins songs are subject to the MUSIC COMPILATION license conditions below.
As you'd except from a band with our name failure to meet these simple conditions for using our music free of charge will result in your assassination.
It's not a condition, but if you can manage it, we'd love to see a DVD or VHS of your film or video using our music. Email us and we'll tell you where to send it.

MUSIC COMPILATIONS:
Any Black Assassins' song will be cleared to use in compilation CDs or DVDs and other format music releases on a most favoured nation basis with the music of other artists on such compilations, and usual royalty payment systems are in place. If you email us the contract we'll sign it and return it, no fuss.

SAMPLING:
The Black Assassins songs are also pre-cleared to be sampled for use in the creation of other musical works under the conditions of the Creative Commons Sample License at: … http://creativecommons.org/licenses/sampling/1.0 and on condition we are notified about it.

PODCASTING:
The Black Assassins songs are also pre-cleared for use in radio program podcasts free of any up front fee or charge on condition that:
1. Each song used in a podcast is back announced immediatley after the song ends with an announcement that includes the following words: "That was "name of song" from early eighties Australian punk band The Black Assassins, from their CD, The Black Assassins Greatest Hits. 2: The details of all songs (or parts there of) used in a podcast are included in documentation supplied to collection agencies such as APRA in Australia and similar collection agencies in other countries.
